Episode 217

It’s Thursday and that means it’s time for the REALEST TALK on the Internet, REAL TALK with Jimmy Moore! Today Jimmy welcomes Lillie Kane to talk about overcoming childhood trauma.

“Part of being a human is being connected with people and feeling accepted.”

Lillie Kane

In this episode, Jimmy is so delighted to invite on one of his favorite people in the keto community who is a rising superstar in the making–Lillie Kane (@lilliekane_youtube)! This delightfully positive and joyful human being is one of the bright lights on YouTube spreading the uplifting message of hope and healing that comes from eating a low-carb, ketogenic diet. But one thing you may not know about Lillie if you see her now is just how much adversity she has overcome in her childhood to get to this point in her life today. Watch this gripping and sometimes emotional interview that Jimmy conducted with one of his new best friends in the world in today’s episode.

We all have a story and reason behind our motivation. Lillie’s father left when she was too young to remember. Meanwhile, her mother was addicted to drugs and alcohol. Growing up in a verbally & physically abusive household, made her stronger & passionate to find her freedom. Lillie moved out of her home at the age of 16 and shortly after became an emancipated minor. After legally being granted her freedom, Lillie became more determined to find deeper truths to life & embrace each and every day!
