Episode 213

It's Thursday and that means it's time for the REALEST TALK on the Internet, REAL TALK with Jimmy Moore! Join Jimmy today as he welcomes Dr. Dan French.

“Right now we’re dealing with this shitty mid-mountain information, so we can’t make decisions.”

Dr. Dan French

Dr. Dan French is an educator and language-centric intellectual. He taught rhetoric, persuasion, TV writing, screenwriting, and communication studies at the university level for almost two decades. Dan taught a wide range of courses in his field. Eventually leaving academia, he still writes and teaches about all things communication; It’s his obsession. Also a standup comedian for thirty+ years, Dan also uses his chops as a pro comedy writer (having written for late night TV — such as The Late Late Show on CBS, and many others).

Today, Jimmy welcomes back to the show his friend and a PhD in Rhetoric named Dr. Dan French to discuss belief systems regarding various aspects of the 91-DIVOC pandemic, including masks and the jabby jab. Dan uses his many years of knowledge of persuasion, logic, and languages to parse out why people are divided over the issues involved with the virus. It’s an engaging conversation where you may learn a thing or two about what you believe and why you believe it!
